Privacy Policy

FreePDF (https://www.free-pdf-convert.com) is a free online PDF and document conversion tool. This page covers what happens to the files you upload, what else we collect, and how cookies and ads work here. Questions? Email [email protected].
Files you upload
Upload a file, we convert it, you download the result — and then it's gone. We don't open your files to see what's in them, we don't keep a copy once the job is done, and we don't hand them to anyone else. The output disappears from our server the moment your download is ready, not on some cleanup schedule a few days later.
There's no account system either, so there's no name or email attached to a file on our end — unless you send it to us yourself, say, to report a bug.
Information collected automatically
Same as almost any website: our server and our ad and analytics providers log the basics when you visit — IP address, browser, device, which pages you looked at, roughly where you are based on that IP. That's for keeping the site running and secure and for understanding traffic in aggregate. Nobody's building a profile of you personally from it.
Cookies and advertising
Ads are how FreePDF stays free. That means Google and other ad partners set cookies here to serve ads, sometimes based on sites you've visited elsewhere on the web.
If you'd rather not see personalized ads, Google Ads Settings and aboutads.info both let you opt out.
Visiting from the EU or UK? We ask for your consent before any non-essential ad cookie gets set, per Google's EU consent rules, and you can change your mind on that whenever you like.
Your rights
If you're in the EEA, UK, or somewhere with similar privacy laws, you can ask to see, fix, or delete whatever personal data we hold on you. In our case that's not much — no accounts, files auto-deleted — so it's mostly the visit logs described above. Email [email protected] and we'll sort it out.
Third parties
Google AdSense runs the ads, and we use standard analytics tooling to see how the site gets used. Both can set their own cookies and handle data under their own rules — Google's Privacy Policy covers their side of it.
Children
FreePDF isn't aimed at kids under 13, and we don't knowingly collect anything from them.
