Terms of Service
Last updated: 2026-07-11
These are the terms for using FreePDF (https://www.free-pdf-convert.com). Use the site and you're agreeing to them — if that's not something you're up for, this probably isn't the tool for you.
The service
FreePDF merges, splits, compresses, and converts PDFs and other document files — no account needed. You're responsible for what you upload and for what you do with whatever comes out.
Acceptable use
A few things we ask you not to do:
- Upload files you don't actually have the right to process or share
- Upload anything illegal or that infringes someone else's rights
- Use the service to spread malware, or to hammer, probe, or otherwise attack our infrastructure
- Script bulk usage in a way that slows things down for everyone else
Break these and we'll block or throttle your requests.
No warranty
The service is offered as-is. We can't promise every conversion comes out perfect, that formatting survives untouched, or that the site never hiccups. Keep your original file — don't treat us as your only copy.
Limitation of liability
As far as the law allows, FreePDF and the people running it aren't on the hook for indirect or knock-on damages from using the service — including a lost file, even one we can't get back for you.
Your content
Whatever you upload and whatever comes back out is still yours — we don't claim any of it. See our Privacy Policy for how uploaded files are handled and deleted.
Third-party trademarks
PDF, Word, Excel, PowerPoint — these are trademarks of their respective owners. FreePDF isn't affiliated with Adobe, Microsoft, or anyone else who holds them.
Advertising
Free to use, paid for by ads — including Google AdSense. Our Privacy Policy covers the cookie and advertising details.
Changes
These terms might change occasionally. Keep using the site after a change and that counts as accepting the new version.
